He Thought Life Was Over in Jail He Was Wrong

I met him in jail, weeping uncontrollably, convinced he was headed to Parchman. He was a “wild” kid from Memphis, much like I was at that age. He didn’t know me, but I knew his struggle.

I got him into a program. He left. I got him back in. He left again. I got him into another. ๐Ÿ”„

The result? One year later, through a network of local support and pure persistence, heโ€™s doing wonderful. Recovery isn’t a straight line, but itโ€™s always worth the fight.
