Cristan Engelke and Shawntel Hibbler of the Southaven Chamber, announce the 2027 Chamber Cruise sailing June 12 through June 17 aboard the Carnival Dream out of New Orleans, with stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico.
This is a fundraiser for the Southaven Chamber Foundation, which supports the Bridge Academy leadership program, scholarships for local mentees, and small business grants for entrepreneurs in Southaven, DeSoto County, and the greater Memphis area. Every booking helps fund the next generation of business leaders in the Mid-South.
Cruise rates start at $850 per person for an interior room, with oceanview and balcony options available. The deposit is $150 per person, due by June 30, and you can pay the balance monthly over the next year. The trip is open to chamber members and non-members, so bring your spouse, your friends, your family, or turn it into a girls trip.
Tropical Getaways travel agent John Maddox is handling the booking and will sail with the group, so first-time cruisers have a guide on board. An optional charter bus and overnight hotel package is available the day before departure for anyone who wants to ride down to New Orleans with the group.
